ANNIE

As a ten-year resident in PDX Commons and a past member of the national Coho board, I come with a lot of cohousing experience.  I recently moved back from Portland, OR, to the SF Bay to be near family; my late husband and I raised our son in El Cerrito, CA. Originally from NY, I still carry a faint accent.
I've always had a difficult time making up my mind, which is evident by a varied career as a storefront lawyer in Portland, OR, ED for the NYC Lawyers Guild and the California Law Center on Long Term Care, a Policy Guru on women and girls with the City of SF, and a board of directors training specialist with a small nonprofit consulting firm, Zimmerman Lehman, I ran with my husband. My penchant for new careers is morphing into a more wholesome nature (veggie gardener?) and blogger (ZimNotes). Sadly, in these very challenging political times, I can't quite escape the civic world.
My motto is - if you liked living in the dorms, you will love cohousing. One thing I've always been sure of is that a co-housing lifestyle is for me.
