20 members of Berkeley Moshav rolled up their sleeves and came together at a Member’s home to make soup for our unhoused neighbors. In just one afternoon, the group prepared enough soup to feed 120 people through the Berkeley-based grassroots organization Consider the Homeless.
At Berkeley Moshav—a Jewish cohousing community under development—we live out the Jewish values of chesed (kindness), tzedakah (charity), and tikkun olam (repairing the world). What better way to do so than gathering as a community and sharing warmth with a bowl of soup on a chilly day? Are you ready to dive into our vibrant community events? Embark on your journey as an Explorer! Experience the essence of being a Berkeley Moshavnik, complete with enriching community connections. Register for an info session below to discover more!
