SANDRA & PETERSandra: I’m a former nurse-midwife, now working for a local health department where I oversee programs for pregnant people, children, and teens. With the exception of a five-year adventure on the East Coast, I’ve spent most of my adult life in the East Bay. I’m really excited to share my favorite local spots to eat and hike with our new community! After attending the National Cohousing Conference this summer, I’m even more eager to live in community in a place I already love.
Peter: I work in biotech as a data scientist and software engineer. In addition to that, I have a dedicated meditation practice and often participate in intensive retreats. I’ve had the chance to experience various cooperative living arrangements in the past, and I’m really looking forward to being part of a cohousing community once again. We have one child currently away at college, and we live in Richmond, CA. |
