SUSAN & PAULWe met while folk dancing at the San Francisco JCC and have been married for 45 years. We have lived in Oakland since 1979 and are delighted that our three adult daughters and seven grandchildren (ages 5 to 14) all live nearby. Susan is a mostly-retired geriatric social worker, with a special interest in the social context of aging and medical ethics. Paul practiced law at a large corporate firm headquartered in San Francisco for more than 30 years, retiring 15 years ago. Since retiring, he has served on several non-profit boards of directors, chairing five of them. Together, we enjoy classical music concerts, museums, international travel, cooking, and spending time at our home in Sea Ranch. Susan’s favorite leisure activity is playing Renaissance and Baroque recorders; Paul’s is playing the harpsichord.
